I try not to give advice anymore. I know that I don’t know what I’m doing. So, before you start reading, know that I’m not here to give you advice.

I’m here to help YOU fill your life with LIGHT.

And you know where that light comes from? Jesus. <3

It’s so easy to reject life without realizing it…

I did an Instagram Live with Alli Prince today. (She’s cool. She wrote this #1 New Release time travel novel.)

On the Live, we got to talking about the concept of moving on.

When we refuse to move on, we’re actually refusing to accept life. And I know this isn’t a new concept, but have you ever thought about what it means to reject life?

It sounds scary, but we do it every day.

Have you ever thought about what it means to reject life?

Overwhelmed by emotions so you numb yourself?

REJECTING LIFE

Anxious and bitter about something that happened ten years ago?

REJECTING LIFE

There are so many grief movies that are all about what it means to move on, and I think they’re so popular because moving on is a process of accepting life.

Filling your life with LIGHT is a process of accepting life.

Expressing gratitude is a process of accepting life.

Dancing with the volume turned up is a process of accepting life.

I want this for you…

I want to help you accept life, exactly as it is. To live fully and abundantly, no caveats, regrets, or fear.

Because fear is a way of rejecting life.

Fear thinks life is too dangerous to enjoy. Fear lies to you. Fear steals from you.

Perfectionism is a way of rejecting life.

Perfectionism wants control. It tries to manage life. It doesn’t just accept life the way that it is, because one of the truths of life is that humans–you, me–are messy. And we can never reach perfection.

Accepting that I’m not perfect is one of the most beautiful acts of accepting life that I’ve ever done.

So today, I’m going look at all that God made, at every moment and experience and mess in my life, and tell him thank you. I hope you can do that too.
