My friend stole my birthday.

I met Noah about a year and a half ago now. We’re in an apprenticeship program together.

We’re the kind of friends and classmates that don’t say much, but know we care about each other. We’re kinda like siblings.

You see, after we’d known each other awhile, we realized we were born on the same day, in the same year, but in two different states.

So we’re twins. 😉

Before he stole my birthday…

The first year we celebrated our birthday together, it was on a Sunday.

At the apprenticeship, we celebrated his birthday on Friday by going out to lunch at the restaurant I work at now, and my birthday on Monday by going out to Chipotle.

People sang the birthday song to us, and we used these tips to survive.

But this year, when we both turned 20 on Monday, he also released a book.

How can I compete with that? Turning twenty AND launching your first book into the world?

HE STOLE MY BIRTHDAY!

(Don’t worry guys, I felt incredibly loved by so many people on my birthday and I’m not truly upset.)

Why he stole my birthday…

Actually, I read Noah’s book before anyone else in the whole world.

I developmentally edited it for him (only the first round, our mentor did the second round).

And it’s amazing.

western fantasy book

Noah rates it as PG-13 because it tackles hard topics, but it also presents the gospel in a way I’ve never seen before.

This story is a gift. My birthday gift from Noah…and I can’t wait to share it with you.

It’s got outlaws and sand magic and cool hats. You won’t regret snagging a copy for yourself (or your nerdy older brother that’s hard to shop for)!

Support my friend and keep my birthday sacrifice from being in vain. 😉 Grab your copy now!
